TKIF forms ASC involving all the party cadres Himalayan News ServiceKathmandu, April 12The meeting of CPN-UML, Tehrathum-Kathmandu Interaction Forum (TKIF), recently held in Kathmandu has constituted a 25-member, Assembly Organising Committee (ASC), headed by Ramesh Bahadur Katuwal, the then president of TKIF.Meanwhile, the meeting has also formed a 13 member advisory committee and a 5 member secretariat, too. The secretariat includes Ramesh Katuwal as the head, Pitambar Timsina as secretary, Lokendra Tumbahamphe as treasurer and Lalit Subba and Kunwar KC as members, which is stated in the press release issued here by TKIF. In connection with such large ASC, Pitamber Timsina, secretary of the forum told the The Himalayan Times, “after the unification of CPN-UML and ML formally, we have done what we ought to. This was done by involving all the comrades who were previously with ML, since the central committee meeting of our party has instructed all the sister organisations, and every faction and committees including all interaction forums to go as one". Certainly, ASC seems to be larger than that of earlier, but all the dispute has been solved along with the formation of the ASC. “Now we are fully committed to do our best following the instructions provided to us by central interaction department in a regular manner,” he said. ‘There is now no confusion among us’ he told The Himalayan Times.
