ILAM: Antu hills, one of the best places for observing sunrise in Nepal is now full of tourists following an improvement in the weather.

Both domestic and foreign tourists are now flocking the hill station located in eastern Ilam. Sunrise, sunset, Himalayan range and culture of the local Lepcha community are major attractions of Antu. Tea garden is an addition to the attraction of Ilam district as a whole.

The Antu Tourism Development Centre has been coordinating the tourist visit and stay in Antu.

The enlisting of Antu as a destination for rural tourism along with Sirubari of Gorkha and Ghalegaon of Lamjung, has helped promote Antu as a popular tourist destination, the Centre Chair Dhan Kumar Ale said.
