KHAJURA, BANKE: A 55-year-old man displaced by the recent flood was crushed to death by a tractor in Banke district.

The deceased has been identified as Ram Khelaban Murau of Gangapur in Narainapur Rural Municipality-6 in the district.

The tractor (Bhe 1 Ta 7442) carrying relief supplies for the flood survivors ran over Murau, critically injuring him in the rural municipality yesterday, according to police. He was sleeping by the roadside.

He was rushed to the Nepalgunj Medical College where he died during the course of treatment, informed police.
