BIRGUNJ: A child died after being hit by a tractor in Mahuwan VDC, Parsa on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as three-year-old Aayush Kumar Jayswal, son of Sonalal Jayaswal, a resident of Mahuwan VDC-1.

Police said that the minor sustained serious head injury after the loaded four-wheeler (Na 4 Ta 2692) hit him this morning.

He breathed his last while being rushed to the Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital for treatment.
