Bara, November 9:

Businessmen staged a silent rally in Kalaiya district today in protest against the recent killing of two businessmen in Bara. The rally staged by the Bara Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) passed through the thoroughfares of Kalaiya. The businessmen also staged a sit-in in front of the District Administration Office and the District Police Office for 15 minutes demanding security.

Shops and factories in Kalaiya remained closed for one hour on Thursday. Member of the BCCI Abhimanyu Shah and petrol pump owner Amarjit Singh Bagga were shot dead by an unidentified group or persons last week. They also demanded the administration take action against the guilty.
