KANCHANPUR: Student organisations affiliated to different political parties have been disrupting traffic along the East-West Highway in the Kanchanpur district since, demanding loadshedding free-zone to the district.

Vehicles have remained off the road from 9 am and would continue till 12 this afternoon. As part of their ongoing demonstrations for the past one week, putting forth the demand, the students had also padlocked the Mahendranagar-based branch office of the Nepal Electricity Authority.
