KATHMANDU, MARCH 29
Traffic has resumed along the BP Highway from Sunday morning after being disrupted since Friday evening due to flooding in the Roshi River triggered by continuous rainfall.
According to the District Police Office, two-way vehicular movement has been restored after a temporary diversion came into operation as water levels receded. However, authorities have urged travellers to exercise caution due to ongoing adverse weather conditions.
Flooding had damaged sections of the highway and washed away around four kilometres of diversion road between Chowkidanda and Nepalthok.
Several stretches at Biruwadanda, Kaldhanga, Chowkidanda and Mangaltar were also affected.
