Kapilvastu, October 7 :

Traffic that was disrupted from Thursday in Jeetpur on Mahendra Highway in Kapilvastu resumed today.

Traffic resumed after the bus owners agreed for maximum punishment to the bus driver, fining Rs 150,000 and a new motorbike to the family of killed. Locals ganged up to ensure that justice would be done to the victim.

The accord was made among the local police administration, members of the bus entrepreneurs’ committee and bus owner, said chairperson of the Western Nepal Bus Entrepreneurs’ Committee, Tulsiram Banjade. Passenger bus (Lu 1 Kha 1230) that was heading west from Butwal hit Bishnu Rana of Bandganga VDC-7 on Wednesday and he died.
