KATHMANDU: Chairman of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Surya Kiran Gurung has directed the government to provide necessary security for its member Madhabi Bhatta, who on Sunday had said she felt security threats.

Saying that a perceived security threat to any member of the body is serious, Chairman Gurung told The Himalayan Times that he asked TRC Secretary Narendra Man Shrestha to arrange necessary security personnel for her safety.
