SAPTARI: A truck and a motorcycle were set on fire by the demonstrators of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) in Dhalkebar of Dhanusa district.

The truck (Ja 4 Kha 626) was carrying buffaloes from Mahendranagar of Dhanusa to Kathmandu when it was set ablaze.

However, the cadres of UDMF informed that the buffaloes were off-loaded before setting the truck on fire.

Likewise, the UDMF cadres set a motorcycle (Ja 4 Pa 6668) on fire on the charge of  smuggling fuel as well as for defying the strike.

Meanwhile, police are looking for those involved in the two incidents, according to Area Police Office, Dhalkebar.
