HETAUDA: A minor died after a truck hit her at Manahari VDC in Makawanpur on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Sujata Singh, 7, of the VDC. The accident occurred while the truck was heading towards Chitwan from Hetauda in the morning, said police.

The critically injured child died on the way to Chitwan-based Bharatpur Hospital, said District Police Office, Makawanpur.

Meanwhile, police took the bus and its driver under control and further investigation into the accident is under way.
