NAWALPARASI: A bicyclist died after a truck hit a cycle she was riding on at Madhyabindu Municipality-7 in the district on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Mina Gharti (40) of Madhyabindu Municipality -4.

The accident took place when the truck (Lu 1 Kha 8615) heading towards Kolhuwa from Chormara hit her from behind this morning.

Though police impounded the truck for the further investigation, driver is absconding.
