KAWASOTI: A man died after a truck hit a motorbike he was riding on at Chalis Kilometre in Nawalparasi district along the East-West Highway on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as biker Dipendra Kumal of Koliya Deurali VDC-2 in the district.

The truck (Na 6 Kha 4029) hit the motorbike yesterday evening.

Kumal, who was critically injured in the incident, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Chitwan Medical College, according to the Area Police Office, Nawalpur.
