Former Vice Chancellor Sharma's body was brought to Kathmandu from Russia on Thursday and a condolence meeting was held at TU Memorial Building.

TU Registrar Dilliram Upreti said that although the colleges would remain closed on Friday, the announced schedule of the examinations would remain unchanged.

Sharma had served as the Vice Chancellor of TU in 2003. He passed away at a hospital in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on Wednesday night.
