CHITWAN: As many as 12 persons sustained injuries in a bus accident on the Bharatpur-Aanptaari-Devghat road section today morning. It has been reported that two among the injured are in serious condition.

The bus (Na 7 Kha 1554) going towards Pokhara Buspark from Devghat overturned due to over-speeding, Chitwan District Police Office said.

The injured are being treated at the College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur and Chitwan Medical College. Thirty people were on board the vehicle.

The bus driver has absconded after the incident. Further investigation into the case is underway.
