Two army men die in motorbike-truck collision

POKHARA: Two army men died in a motorbike-truck collision at Amarsingh Chowk of  Pokhara in Kaski district on Thursday night.

According to the Kaski District Police Office, Nepal Army Captain Ranjan Bikram Shah (30) and Sergeant Roshan Thapa (24) of Rajdal Battalion in Khairenitar of Tanahun district lost their lives when the motorbike (Na 14 Pa 3852) and the truck (Na 3 Kha 659) collided at the point around 8:30 pm last night .

Shah was a permanent residences of Madhyapur-Thimi and Thapa was of Deurali VDC in Gorkha district.

The bodies of Shah and Thapa were kept at the Western Regional Hospital for autopsy, police further stated.

Police have impounded the truck and and arrested the driver for investigation.
