Nuwakot, May 30:

Two persons — Mingma Tamang, 61, of Bridim VDC and Khurpu Tamang, 54,

of Dhunche — were killed in a fire at a forest in Bridim VDC in Rasuwa district on Wednesday.

They were heading towards Dhunche, the district headquarters of Nuwakot, said Rasuwa Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Kumar Acharya.

The jungle caught fire on Monday, police said, adding that it is yet to be doused.
