Two-day training provided to deputies, vice-chairs of Prov 4 local levels
POKHARA: A two-day capacity building training has been provided to the deputies and vice-chairs of local levels of the 11 districts that comprise Province 4.
The training is being organised by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of Province 4, on June 19-20, with the aim of making the judicial council of local levels effective.
During the inauguration of the training, provincial Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Hari Bahadur Chuman said, the training would be fruitful in solving simple cases of conflicts at local level itself as per the provision in the constitution, along with providing people with the experience of federalism.
It has been learnt that as many as 85 deputies and vice-chairs of metropolitan cities, municipalities and rural municipalities of the province have participated in the training, which would be facilitated by Justice Dipendra Adhikari of Kaski District Court, Senior advocate Hari Prasad Subedi, Advocate Hari Prasad Pandit, and Secretary at the Ministry Dharma Raj Kuikel.
