LAMJUNG: Two persons died in a landslide that occurred at Khudi Pallotari in Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-3 of Lamjung district.

Abhirupa Thapa (60) and Sirak Thapa (10) of a single family, who were buried in the landslide, passed away during medical treatment.

Locals failed to bring them to the district headquarters for further treatment due to multiple obstructions on the road following the landslips caused by flood.

According to police, the two lost their lives for lack of further treatment even though the police and locals had rescued them immediately after the incident.
