DHULIKHEL: Two person died in a road accident at Piple, Roshi Rural Municipality-11 of Kavrepalanchok district on Wednesday morning.

One of the deceased has been identified as Min Bahadur Paudel ( 35), a local of Karkeshowri in Okhuldhunga district, whereas identity of the other person has yet to be established, said police.

The incident occured when the motorcycle (Ba 45 Pa 6753) heading towards Sindhuli from Kathmandu tried to overtake a Tata Sumo jeep (Na 1 Ja 4695). While overtaking, the two-wheeler rammed into the the bus (Ba 4 Kha 603) coming from the opposite direction, said Inspector Shankar Shrestha of the Mangaltar Area Police Office (APO).

The bus was en route to Kathmandu from Diktel of Khotang.

According to Inspector Shrestha, the two deceased were the rider and the pillion rider of the two-wheeler.

Other six injured were rushed to the Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment.
