KATHMANDU: Two persons were arrested for thrashing and robbing a man at Dhalku Chok in KMC-17 on Wednesday.

The detainees have been identified as Ujwal Tuladhar (36) of New Road and Mukhiya Gurung (28) of Dhobichaur.

The two riding on a motorcycle (Ba 30 Pa 1321) had thrashed and robbed Raju Shrestha of Tinkhuri-7 of Ramechhap district, of a gold ring at Dhalku Chok on Wednesday.

Later, police had arrested them with the gold ring while trying to flee the scene after noticing the security personnel.

Police said the suspects had handed over a metal ring to the victim after snatching away the gold ring.
