DOLAKHA: Police in Dolakha on Saturday arrested two youths for sexually abusing a teenage girl.

Those arrested are Karna Bhujel, 28, and Sujan Khadka, 24, of Bigu Municipality-3. They have been accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl of the same village.

According to Dolakha police chief DSP Rameshwor Karki, the arrests were made after the girl's family filed a complaint. He said preliminary investigation showed that the men abused the girl time and again over the past two years.

Police said the victim was pregnant. “The victim says she is four months into pregnancy. It will be confirmed after a medical test,” said District Police Office sub-inspector Yagyananda Shah.

Both Bhujel and Khadka are married and have children.
