HETAUDA: Police in Makawanpur district today made public two persons arrested along with 10 kilogrammes and 250 grams of hashish.

The arrested have been identified as Aravinda Kumar Patel of Pachrauta Municipality-7 and Sultan Miyan of Aadarsha Kotwal Rural Municipality-1, both in Bara district.

A team of security personnel deployed from Bhainse-based police post, under the command of Sub Inspector of Police (SI) Dilip Kumar Singh arrested the Patel and Miyan in possession of the illegal drug, in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality-1, on Thursday evening. The duo were riding on the pulsar brand motorcycle (Ba 40 Pa 7240) and heading towards Hetauda from Kathmandu.

Meanwhile, police have impounded the two-wheeler.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Mukesh Kumar Singh at Makawanpur District Police Office (DPO) said further investigation into the case was underway,
