GAIGHAT: Police on Tuesday morning arrested two persons with large amount of marijuana from Risku VDC in Udayapur.

The arrested have been identified as Laxman Rai of Okhale VDC and Chhatra Bahadur Magar of Tawashree VDC of the district.

A police team led by DSP Dipak Basnet of Area Police Office, Katari had arrested the duo with 130 kg marijuana, said District Police Office, Udayapur.

Meanwhile, DSP Surendra Gurung of DPO said three others fled the scene. Police have been searching for them, he said.
