HETAUDA: Two houses belonging to Bhim Bahadur Waiba Lama was gutted in a fire that broke out early in Harnamadi of  Hetauda municipality-23 on Thursday morning.

The incident that started at around 2:30 am, gutted property worth Rs. one million including food stock, clothes and utensils, the District Police Office, Makawanpur informed.

Fire brigade from Hetauda downtown and locals worked together for around an hour to bring the fire under control.

The police said the reason behind the fire is not known yet.
