HETAUNDA: Property worth around Rs 1 million was reduced to ashes when a fire gutted two houses in Hetaunda Municipality-23 in the wee hours of Thursday.

According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, the fire destroyed the houses of Bhim Bahadur Waiba at around 2:30 am today.

The fire was later taken under control with a help of a fire engine and locals after an hour.
