Two Indian men held with Rs 5.658 million from Dhanusha

JANAKPURDHAM: Nepali border security forces held two Indian nationals in possession of Rs 5.658 million from Jatahi of Dhanusha district, bordering Indian, on Saturday.

According to Superintendent of Police Uttam Thanet, those detained are residents of Madhubani district of the Indian state of Bihar. They have been identified as Gopi Murarka (28) and Uday Kumar Paswan (27).

The two men were trying to enter Nepal when the Nepali security personnel found the fortune in their possession.

The duo has been handed over to the District Police Office, Dhanusha for further investigation and action.

Muraka told police he brought the money to deposit at a bank. He, however, could not show the source of money, police said.

Paswan is said to be his aide.
