Two Indian nationals in possession of illicit pharmaceuticals nabbed in Rautahat

RAUTAHAT: Two Indian nationals in possession of illegal pharmaceuticals have been arrested by the Rautahat police from district headquarters Gaur, on Sunday.

Acting on suspicion, the police at the Gaur bus park checked the handbags of the two while they were attempting to illegitimately enter into Nepali territory in a bus.

Following the search, the police have managed to seize 450 ampoules each of Diazepam, Phenergan and Nurofen, said District Police Office (DPO).

The arrestees aged 22 and 23 from Motihari, Bihar have been charged in line with the existing laws and remanded in judicial custody for further investigation, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Bharat Shrestha.
