Dharan, March 28:

Two children were killed and many houses were gutted in fire that broke out in different places of Sunsari today and Kapilvastu district yesterday.

Ten-year-old Tharu Priya of Narasingh-8 in Sunsari was killed when fire broke out there today. Fire engulfed many houses there.

Six persons were injured and property worth over Rs 2,000,000 was damaged when fire broke out in Tamuna VDC and Inaruwa-2 today. Five houses were gutted in Tanmuna.

Six-year-old Dashrath Yadav was killed when a fire broke out in a settlement at Madhyapur village, Ward No 4 of Ganeshpur VDC in Kapilvastu last evening. Fifteen houses were gutted.

The child was completely burnt in the fire and his mother Kishorawati too sustained burn injuries in her face.

Similarly 12 houses were gutted when fire broke out at Khurhuriya yesterday. The fire was put off by the locals.

Likewise, a fire broke out at Dayanagar at around 3 pm today.
