KATHMANDU, MAY 16
Two persons lost their lives, and thirteen others sustained injuries in a jeep accident that occurred at Matiyardanda of Nisdi Rural Municipality-4 in Palpa on Wednesday evening.
The deceased have been identified as Rajiv Sunari (7) of Belkhar and Tejan Somai (16) of Mityal Ghyangsibas, both in Nisdi-4, confirmed police. They succumbed to their injuries during treatment at the Madhyabindu District Hospital in Kawasoti.
Meanwhile, the thirteen injured are receiving medical care at Chitwan Medical College. It has been learnt that all the injured are the resident of Nisdi-4.
According to the police, the jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3324), which was carrying fifteen passengers, was en route to Khadar of Nisdi-4 from Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East).
