PALPA: Two persons were killed when a motorcycle and a truck collided in Chidipani-1, Aganhakhola, Palpa on Saturday morning. According to the District Police Office, Palpa, the dead are 36-year old Chet Narayan Bhattarai of Dhudharaksha, Rupandehi and Punya Prasad Bhusal of Behulibas, Parbat, who were riding on the bike. Bhattarai was killed on the spot, while Bhusal died undergoing treatment in the United Mission Hospital, Palpa. The police also informed that the driver's assistant has been arrested and the truck impounded. However, the driver is still at large, police said.
