SUDURPASCHIM, JANUARY 31
Two persons died after the motorcycle they were travelling on collided with a tractor at Pahalmanpur along the East-West Highway in Kailali, on Saturday night.
The deceased have been identified as motorcycle riders Govinda Budha (23) and Man Bahadur Budha (18), both of Ghodaghodi Municipality-10 in Kailali, informed Pratik Bista, Spokesperson at District Police Office, Kailali.
According to police, the incident occurred when the tractor (Ma 1 Ta 542) and the motorcycle (Ba 1 Pa 404) collided with each other last night, injuring both rider and pillion rider of the motorbike.
The critically injured duo was rushed to Ghodaghodi Hospital where they passed away the same night.
Meanwhile, police have impounded the tractor and detained its driver for further investigation and action.
