BAGMATI, APRIL 15
Two staffers of National Investigation Department, Province Office, Hetauda, died after the motorcycle they were travelling on got into an accident along the East-West Highway in Bara, on Wednesday night.
The deceased have been identified as informer (head constable) Shashi Kanta Jha (38), and assistant informer (constable) Sanu Kaji Chitrakar (30), informed District Police Office, Bara.
According to police, the incident occurred when the motorcycle (Na 27 Pa 636), en route from Pathalaiya to Nijgadh, lost control and fell on the road near Balganga bridge in Piple of the district, killing one on the spot.
Critically injured Chitrakar was rushed to Birgunj-based Narayani Hospital where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment, informed police.
