Two persons die as passenger buses collide head-on at Darechok

CHITWAN: Two persons were killed and 17 others injured as two passenger buses collided head-on at Darechok, Fishling VDC of Chitwan district on Tuesday evening.
Two buses -- one (Na 4 Kha 4516) heading to Dharan from Kathmandu and the other Lu 1 Kha 9361, heading to Kathmandu from Bhairahawa, met with the accident along the Prithivi Highway at around around 7 pm, police said.
Three passengers , who were critically injured in the accident were being rushed to Kathmandu. But two of them breathed their last on the way, according to police.
Sixteen of the injured are admitted to different health facilities in Chitwan for treatment.
