RUKUM: Two persons have been critically injured in a lethal attack by khukuri at Musikot Municipality in West Rukum.

The injured have been identified as Sudip Budha (17) and Yubak KC (16) of Uttarganga Rural Municipality-6.

The incident occurred when Rabin Sunar (18) of Bhume Rural Municipality-3 of East Rukum, on Thursday, attacked them with the sharp-edged weapon.

All of them have been residing in Khalanga of district headquarters Musikot in West Rukum.

Police said they were involved in a violent clash following a dispute.

Budha and KC, who have sustained critical injuries, are undergoing treatment at Medical College, Kohalpur, Banke.

Sub Inspector at Rukum District Police Office, Surendra Kumar Swar, shared that further investigation into the case is underway after taking Sunar into police custody.
