Two teenager girls die of having poison
Ramechhap: Two teenager girls of Himganga Higher secondary school have committed suicide taking poison at school.
The deceased have been identified as Rita Shrestha (16) of Sanghutar VDC-4 and Tikamaya Budhathoki (16) of Esam VDC-1 in Okhaldhunga, studying at class 10 in the school.
The duo had left for school merrily without having supper as a ceremony to honour ancestor had taken place at home. They descended to Sanghutar bazar in the break time around 1 pm, bought there poison and took it in the woods which lies between the bazar and the school on Thursday, according to Machhinda Budhathoki, mother of Budhathoki who had arrived the school immediately after she was informed of the incident. However,the reason behind the incident hasn't been known yet.
According to the duo's another classmate Sangita, they had been back to class complaining about stomachache and were sent to a nearby healthpost. Budhathoki breathed her last on the way to the health post while Shrestha died on the way to the District Headquarters at Manthali by ambulance.
Bodies of the deceased have been brought to Primary Health Centre at Manthali with the help of headmaster, students, parents and other relatives for the post-mortem. The bodies have been sent to health centre for post-mortem according to District police Office Ramechhap.
