PARBAT: Two persons sustained bullet injuries after a youth opened fire on them at Banau Village Development Committee of the district on Tuesday afternoon.

The injured are Laxman Basyal,15, and Ramesh Sarki, 22, of Durlung VDC. Mahendra Phakami Pun, alias Prakash, had shot at the duo, police said. The injured have been taken to Manipal teaching hospital in Pokhara where Basyal’s condition is reported to be critical.

According to the police, Pun shot at the duo over “old personal disputes.” The police have arrested Pun with the pistol he used.
