UCPN-Maoist decides to field candidate for Vice-President
KATHMANDU: UCPN -Maoist has decided to field a candidate from the party in the election of Vice-President at the Parliament.
The party's Standing Committee (SC) meeting held Saturday decided to contest for the post of the new Vice -President. However, the name of the candidate has not been finalised yet.
The party is waiting for the candidacies for the post of President from other parties to take a decision on the party's candidacy for the Vice-President, said party Vice-Chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha after the meeting.
