DHANUSA: The locals of Kushmaha, Dhanusha beat a UCPN-Maoist cadre to death on Monday. The deceased Birendra Raya Amatya, a resident of Sattokhar VDC-1, was the district level UCPN-Maoist cadre. The incident occurred after a dispute during a meeting held to organise the celebration in Shiva Mandir in Kushmaha turned violent. The locals attacked Amatya with rods, batons and khukuris. The security personnel have blanketed the area to prevent any untoward incident.
