KATHMANDU: Major Madhesi parties have demanded rectification on the Constitution Amendment Bill that the government has registered at the Parliament for its endorsement. Top leaders of United Democratic Madhesi Front on Saturday held a meeting at the Tarai Madesh Democratic Party's office here in Kathmandu to discuss the proposed amendment to the Constitution and decided to endorse it with some changes. If the government was ready to proceed the amendment proposal then the alliance of Madhesi parties would support it, Raj Kishor Yadav of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Republican, a UDMF constituent, told Rastriya Samachar Samiti. Earlier, the Madhesi parties had been protesting the Constitution Amendment Bill.
