UDMF to seek Bihar’s support
Birgunj, January 30
Top leaders of agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front are visiting Bihar on Sunday to garner support for their ongoing border-centric protests.
Sources said that the chairs of all United Democratic Madhesi Front constituents would take part in the programme.
The programme is scheduled to be held in Majaffarpur tomorrow.
Media for Border Harmony and India-Nepal Friendship Association are organising the programme to discuss the ongoing Madhes agitation.
Federalist Socialist Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav, Chairman of Nepal Sadbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato, Tarai Madhes Loktantric Party Chairman Mahanta Thakur and Tarai Madhes Sadbhawana Party Mahendra Raya Yadav will attend the programme. According to Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Parsa chairman Pradip Yadav, the top leaders would request the leaders of Bihar to extend support to their agitation in the southern plains.
The programme will be conducted under the chairmanship of the vice-chairman of National Janta Dal Raghubansha Prasad Singh.
