KATHMANDU: The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has decided to submit a memorandum to the Prime Minister including issues of national concern and the 11-point demand of the Front.

A meeting of the UDMF today also decided to set up a Secretariat in order to chart out the future programmes of the Front, according to leader of Tarai Madhesh Loktantrik Party Sarbendra Nath Shukla. The final agenda and the date of submitting the memo would be finalised by the next meeting.

The newly constituted Secretariat includes Rajendra Shrestha, Manish Suman, Brishesh Chandra Lal, Ram Naresh Raya, Keshav Jha, Kaushalendra Mishra and Parmesh Shah.

The UDMF meeting today concluded that the Prime Minister's recent India visit was diplomatically unsuccessful and demanded that the government ease supplies of fuel and daily commodities that remain scarce in the market even after the border blockade was lifted three weeks ago.
