UML bid to form republican

Kathmandu, November 29:

The standing committee meeting of the CPN-UML today constituted a Democratic Republican Front task force with Bam Dev Gautam, Ishwor Pokhrel and Bishnu Poudel as members to discuss the need for a front of the republican forces.

According to a standing committee member, Jhalanath Khanal, the party also constituted a land reforms task force to study and prepare a concept on scientific land reforms and management under the coordination of Keshab Badal.

Another panel led by Bharat Mohan Adhikari has been formed to prepare a model for expediting development process.

The meeting formed a talks panel headed by general secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal to hold talks with parties on various issues, including peace agreement, future course and unity among parties.
