UML's perspective of seeing people as India 'wrong': Paudel

TANAHUN: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel today said it was wrong that the CPN-UML was viewing people as 'India'.

At a press conference held by the Nepal Press Union Tanahun Chapter this morning in Damauli, Paudel accused UML of double standards – first by demanding a Constitution amendment to address the Madhesi people's demands while in the government and suddenly opposing the same afterwards.

Paudel further added that the UML was trying to insult the Madhes region by running away from the amendment and stopping others from to make any move.

“There is no option other than to come together and address the demands of the disgruntled sides of Madhes,” leader Paudel shared.

Paudel again stressed holding the local body elections as soon as possible.
