Kathmandu, July 13:

UNHCR Representative in Nepal, Abraham Abraham, on Wednesday said the Bhutanese parties should resume talks with Bhutanese King and strive for reconciliation. According to UNHCR, Abraham said this at a meeting with Bhutanese leaders in Damak on Tuesday in course of a visit to refugee camps. Abraham was quoted as saying that the Bhutanese refugee situation was a complex one and not the result of internal conflict in Bhutan.

“Repatriation can be achieved by refugees sending right messages and signals to their King and working for reconciliation,” he said.
