DAMAK: Daisy Dell, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Nepal, accompanied by chief donor representatives on Wednesday toured the Bhutanese refugee camps in Jhapa and Morang districts to collect information on their situation.

Visiting the Goldhap, Beldangi, and Shanischare camps, the team learnt about the assistance the refugees had got, including their problems. The team members also asked the refugees to wait for a solution. Dell said the refugees were free to choose the opportunities presented to them. High ranking officials of UN World Food Programme, UNFPA , International Labour Organisation, IOM and OHCHR took part in the field visit.
