Jhapa, April 6:

The UN High Commission for Refugees has asked all secretaries of the Bhutanese refugees camps not to get involved in politicking. Through leaflets on Monday, UNHCR reminded them of their duties in managing daily issues in the camps. The leaflets directed the refugees to follow rules and regulations of the host nation. Regretting the rise of rebellious activities in refugee camps, UNHCR said such actions would affect the repatriation process. The UNHCR also reminded refugees that they were constantly being watched by Nepal, Bhutan and international organisations. The initiative comes after reported moves by the secretaries to to launch an organised agitation demanding repatriation.
