UNMIN procedures delaying interim govt formation: KC

Nepali Congress (NC) central member Arjun Narsingh KC said here today the formation of the interim government was being delayed due to administrative process of the UN’s Nepal Mission in course of management of weapons.
Speaking at a press meet, KC accused the Maoists of hiding their weapons and apprehended that they would use these in the constituent assembly (CA) poll. He urged both the government and the Maoists for the formation of a Power Investigation Commission.
When asked about formulation of the act related to the CA election, KC said it would be done within two days. He said NC has not taken any decision about the Maoists’ call for early announcement of a republic through parliament. He claimed that both the Congresses would be unified within a fortnight of the formation of an interim government.
