Upgradation of medical facilities at Mustang Hospital

MUSTANG: Various modern medical equipment and other facilities have been recently upgraded at the District Hospital in Mustang district so as to render healthcare facilities to the locals more effectively.

Upgraded equipment includes two delivery beds, blood analysers and digital oxygen concentrators.

The Hospital has been equipped with the warmer machine for babies and elderly patients, keeping in view the relatively low temperature in the district, said District Public Health Office Chief Shambhu Gyawali.

To facilitate the patients and visitors, an inquiry room and medicine distribution room have been set up.

Furthermore, a citizen charter has been installed at the Hospital.

The quota for medical staffs including doctors, have been increased to five from the existing two to offer specialist facilities to patients, shared Gyawali.

Around 40 people have been visiting the Hospital on average every day, he added.
