BHOJPUR: A man sustained critical injuries after a van hit him in Kaptanganj-4 of Sunsari district on Saturday.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, pedestrian Mahanthi Mehta (68) was seriously injured after the van (Ko 1 Cha 5980) hit him yesterday.

Police informed that Mehta is receiving treatment at the Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.

Police have impounded the van and arrested its driver for investigation.
